Ingredients:

  • plaster
  • 250 ml of water
  • Cardboard rolls (toilet paper)
  • vaseline
  • baking paper
  • Food Color / Color pigments / Easter Eggs Color (I refuse to use chalk from turmeric or something, because they are precious foods, if you want to try it, you can also do it with elderberry or beetroot juice)
  • an old bowl
  • measuring cup

1. Coat the toilet paper rolls with petroleum jelly or other grease so that you can later remove the chalk well from the mold. Wrap the lower end of the paper roll with baking paper and glue it with adhesive tape (rubber band can also be used), so that it can not slip away. Because your form must be closed down.

2. Use a measuring cup to take a lot of water and put it in the bowl. If you work with liquid food coloring, you now need several bowls, one for each color and dissolve the color in the water until the water is intensely colored. For 2 pieces of chalk you need about 250 ml of water. Now you take the measuring cup and fill it 2/3 with plaster. Now you move and pour the increasingly solid plaster into the molds. It's best to put the molds in glasses or cups so they do not tip over. Incidentally, you can also take silicone molds (such as ice cube molds).

3. Let the mass dry overnight. Carefully release the mold the next day and off you go. Off to the sidewalk.

  1. I do not need this but very good idea and hopefully many families will read that too !!!
Of course you can always see the sidewalks or entrance areas in front of houses decorated with street chalk. Sometimes there are real interesting paintings.
